In the interest of public health and to promote social distancing, Horsham Township is cancelling Horsham Day and its accompanying fireworks show, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2020. We understand this may be a disappointment to many who look forward to this event each year, however the Township’s main priority is the well-being of our residents and community members. It is time to take care of one another by social distancing and avoiding large gatherings – so #besafe and we look forward to seeing you all at Horsham Day 2021.
Since school closed we immediately went into action by delivering five days of breakfasts, lunches, beverages and snacks twice a week to the homes of approximately 280 children in the Hatboro Horsham District, which translates to about 130 families. Since the district began the weekday to-go meals from Keith Valley, we are back to the weekend pack and delivery on Saturdays. So, here is our immediate need. Bags! We use nearly 140 bags per week, at the moment, with the count going up each week with new families signing up in the community who need help. HAT Packs 215-837-2245
The Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce “Forever Food Drive” program is an ongoing effort to supply our community Food Pantry which is run by St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Catherine of Siena in Horsham.
